ain’t no other love like the love for chocolate ✨CHOCOLATE MOLTENS✨ whhhhaaaat. oh 👏🏻 em 👏🏻 gee 👏🏻 i know i know you guys! this one’s BIG. watch out Chili’s! jk jk 😝 but really, that is where my love for the chocolate molten started. when i was younger, the chocolate 🍫 molten from Chili’s was me and my siblings favvvvvorite dessert 😋 we loved that tower of pure sugar! so this is my healthier take on it! gluten free ✔️dairy free✔️refined sugar free✔️guilt free✔️paleo✔️and delicious! Will has been drooling over these. the first time I made them he literally inhaled it before i even had two bites of mine. my number one taste tester that guy ❤️
you know there is no chocolate dessert that is complete without my favorite dairy free cashew milk very vanilla ice cream from so delicious and loads of whipped cream. dessert is my favorite meal💯 so i don’t kid around when it comes to it. you will not regret making these!
WHAT YOU NEED:
(makes 2-4)
▫️1 @vitalfarms egg
▫️2 tbsp coconut oil
▫️1/4 cup unsweetened @silk almond milk
▫️2 tbsp @wholesomesweet coconut sugar
▫️2 tbsp apple sauce
▫️1/4 cup @navitasorganics cacao powder
▫️1/2 cup @bobsredmill oat flour
▫️1/2 tsp baking powder
▫️1 @hukitchen Dark Sea Salt Chocolate Bar
▫️very vanilla cashew milk ice cream @so_delicious
HOW TO:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease 2 soup cups with coconut oil or coconut oil spray. (NOTE: I have only ever made this recipe using the soup cups, but if you don’t have soup cups I think it would work to make smaller ones in a cupcake pan! Around 3-4.)
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, oil, milk, sugar, and apple sauce. Next add in cacao powder, flour, and baking soda and mix until fully combined.
Fill soup cups, or cupcake pan halfway with batter. Place two pieces of Hu Kitchen in the center of each molten. Fill second half of soup cups or cupcake pan with remaining batter (about 3/4 of the way fill). Bake for 17-20 mins for soup cups. If using cupcake holder, shave off a few minutes of time since they will be smaller. Once cooked, remove from oven and let cool for about 5-10 minutes before removing from cup/pan.
While molten are cooling, melt the remaining chocolate bar in the microwave at 20 second intervals. Drizzle remaining chocolate over molten, top with cashew milk vanilla ice cream, and a little whipped cream and ENJOY!
