Updated: Mar 23, 2021

we all know that the sweet and spicy flavor combo is unbeatable🙌🏻 it’s always had that reputation and always will. and it’s a reputation well deserved. enter ✨HONEY SRIRACHA STIR FRY✨i love honey and sriracha together. they balance each other out so well! plus, this recipe has a little citrus 🍋 bonus to throw in some acidic flavor which i found to be good as gold!

this is a perfect easy recipe to make for dinner and it so good leftover too! we’re big into leftover in our house, so i love making this in the beginning of the week and then heating up later on in the week after a busy day. makes life so much easier! 👏🏻 it’s gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, paleo, and super flavorful! if you love the heat, try adding a little extra sriracha, but i think the spice level is 💯 as is!

▫️1 tsp garlic powder

▫️1/2 tsp pepper

▫️1/4 tsp pink salt

▫️2 tbsp avocado oil

.

ADDITIONAL NEEDS:

▫️1/2 red bell pepper, sliced

▫️1/2 orange bell pepper, sliced

▫️1 small head broccoli, blanched

▫️1 onion, sliced

▫️serve over your choice of rice

.

HOW TO make STIR FRY:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients for sauce and set aside.

  2. Cut broccoli in small florets and blanch. (bring broccoli and water to a boil - once water starts to boil drain broccoli) Set aside.

  3. Cut chicken breasts into small bite size pieces and place in a large bowl.

  4. In a small bowl mix together flour and spices. Pour mixture over chicken mix until chicken is evenly coated.

  5. In a medium saucepan, warm avocado oil over medium heat. Once warm, place chicken in pan and cook four about 5 minutes on each side. After about 10-12 minutes reduce heat to med/low. Add onion, bell pepper, and blanched broccoli and let everything cook for another 5-10 minutes.

  6. Next, it is time to add in your “sauce” and let stir fry simmer for about 15-20 minutes. While it simmers, make your rice. Follow directions on the back of the box. (Usually takes about 15 minutes). Serve stir fry warm over rice and ENJOY!
